Learning to tell our stories: Regular and Irregular Imperfect Verbs

Introduction

In this lesson you will learn to conjugate regular and irregular imperfect verbs.   This is a second verb form used when speaking in the past tense.  You will also have the opportunity to discover examples of Latino culture in your own community.

In this lesson you will 

1. Watch the videos over imperfect verb conjugation.  Take notes of your own as you watch.

2. Practice conjugating imperfect verbs in the provided Google doc.  

3. Participate in mobile scavenger hunt to challenge you to find representations of  Latino culture in your community and to practice your new skill.  The written portion of this scavenger hunt will be used as your assessment for this unit.

Summary: 

In Lesson 3 you learned how to conjugate imperfect verbs.  You practiced this new skill in a Google Doc.  You then took your learning mobile!  You were able to apply what you have been learning about language and culture to help you connect with Latino culture in your community.  In Lesson 4 we will learn the difference between preterite and imperfect verbs.
